In Fear the Walking Dead season 5, episode 11, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Strand (Colman Domingo (Colman Domingo) are trapped in a police station while Morgan (Lennie James) and Al (Maggie Grace) try to save a dying man.
Alicia’s search for the mysterious person painting the trees is interrupted when she is contacted by Wes (Colby Hollman), a new survivor who was briefly introduced in Fear the Walking Dead’s midseason premiere. After Wes tricks Alicia and Strand into helping him get back his stolen manuscript, a man is shot. Morgan and Al, who were busy finding a place to stash Al’s tapes, are called in to help, but Logan (Matt Frewer) stands in their way, still determined to find the location of Polar Bear’s oilfields.
Alicia, Strand, and Wes are forced to work together to escape the police station. Later, Wes kills the man who stole his manuscript and goes his own way. Afterward, Alicia discovers that the person painting the trees was Wes all along, disproving a fan theory about Madison returning to the show. Here are the questions that need to be answered after Fear the Walking Dead season 5, episode 11, “You’re Still Here”.
4. What Happened to Logan?
“Take what you need, leave what you don’t” are the words written on the supply boxes left near the roads by Polar Bear in Fear the Walking Dead season 4. It’s a tradition that Morgan and the others have carried on. In “You’re Still Here”, Logan admits that he was the one who came up with the phrase in the first place. Logan claims that he used to believe in those words, but he doesn’t anymore. So what happened to make Logan change?
3. Will Wes Join The Group?
Fear the Walking Dead season 5, episode 11 ended with Wes once again on his own. After working so hard to get his manuscript, he decides to leave it behind when a man dies over it. Though he’s not currently on the best of terms with Alicia and the others due to what happened, Alicia’s opinion of him may have changed when she found out that it was Wes who was painting the trees. This is a clear indication to Alicia that there’s more to Wes than meets the eye. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise if Wes eventually receives an invitation to join Morgan’s group.
2. What Will Logan Learn From Al’s Tapes?
In the final scene of Fear the Walking Dead season 5, episode 11, Logan and his men break into the bank vault where Al stashed her recordings. Logan hopes that one of the survivors slipped up when taping their interviews. While it’s unlikely that a member of Morgan’s group would make such a glaring mistake, it is possible that if Logan looks hard enough, he can find something that he can use against them in the future, even if it has nothing to do with the oilfields.
1. Why Does Logan Want The Oilfields?
Logan fails again to convince Morgan to tell him the location of the oilfields. He was even willing to settle for a quick read of Polar Bear’s journals. When Morgan asks why he wants them, Logan explains that it’s for “big boy and big girl stuff.” Logan’s only hint is that they want to help people, but in a way that Morgan won’t like. The fact that Logan is unwilling to share details of his plan understandably makes Morgan even less willing to cooperate. What Logan intends for the oilfields is a mystery that will hopefully be unraveled by the end of Fear the Walking Dead season 5.
