A Family Feud contestant confidently bombed a simple $1,000 question. Fans at home don’t understand the pressure that a contestant faces when the cameras and bright lights are focused on them and being asked to answer a simple question. However, there have been many hilarious Family Feud answers, this one definitely takes the cake.

Like many other game shows, Family Feud is all about bringing family’s together. The show’s premise puts two families against each other to try and win the jackpot at the end. Contestants try to guess the most popular responses to survey questions with each family member getting a chance to play until a question is missed. The family with the most points at the end of the show gets to compete in the bonus round.

On Family Feud Canada, Eve Dubois was asked a simple $1,000 question but, in her haste, botched up her answer spectacularly. On the January 9th episode the game show had gone into a sudden death round with the outcome being whoever answered the question right would win the show. Gerry Dee, who was the host, set up the two contestants by saying the next question he was about to read was very simple. He asked the two players to “name Popeye’s favorite food.” Dee was hardly done asking the question when Dubois slammed her buzzer and sings out “Chicken!’ Happy with her answer the blonde contestant proceeded to dance on the spot as the audience looked on in horror, check out the Family Feud Canada’s tweet about the hilarious and iconic moment below:

Dubois’s family members are quickly scanned to by the cameras as they look in shock as the rival family ended up winning the $10,000. Dee was seen struggling not to laugh as it was obvious that the host was referring to the classic Popeye from the cartoon who’s favorite food was spinach, not the fried chicken fast-food chain Popeye’s Chicken. Logan Tomlin, who was Dubois’s competition buzzed in to answer spinach, winning his family the game.

Luckily, Dubois has played it cool simply explain that she thought Dee had meant Popeye’s Chicken as it had been in the news recently for releasing a new sandwich. The funny clip has already had millions of views. After the show aired, the fast-food chain Popeye’s Chicken took to Twitter to give Dubois $10,000 worth of chicken, joking that their survey says she was right. The iconic game show moment is bound to go down in history as one of the funniest ever to be recorded. Dubois is still laughing at herself and even posted a video of herself on her social media as she danced with fried chicken in her hand, saying that she has always loved chicken as the video was taken two years before her mishap on Family Feud.
