Try all of these fixes one by one and definitely one of these fixes will work out for you.
Update the Application:
Mobile Applications are not immune to bugs. Now and then we get bugs in the applications and the company pushes out an update with a fix to the bug. So if you are on an older version of Snapchat, then you might be seeing this error due to a bug. The most logical thing to do here would be to update the application to the latest version.
Update on Android:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Search for “Snapchat” in the search bar and then tap on the Snapchat application that shows up in the search results.
- Then you will see an option “Update” right below the app’s icon. Tap on it.
- After the installation is done, open Snapchat again and see if the error is now fixed.
Update on iOS:
- Open the App Store.
- Tap on the Today tab and then choose the profile icon on top.
- In the pending updates section, look for Snapchat and then tap on the update button.
- After the installation is complete, check if the same error shows up again.
If you were already on the latest version or if the update did not work, then you should try the next fix.

Clear the cache and data:
Now a reason why some apps don’t function the way they are intended to is because of corrupted cache data. So clearing out the app date may do the trick for you with the failed to send error.
- Close the application and even remove it from the recent menu.
- Open Settings on your phone.
- Tap on “Apps & Notifications”.
- Tap on “See all apps” option
- Here in the list of applications, look for Snapchat and tap on it.
- Now tap on the storage icon.
- Then tap on Clear Cache and then Clear Data.
- After that, open the app again. Y0u will have to enter your login credentials and log in again.
- The check if the same error shows up again when you try to send a message to that account back.

Log out and Reinstall Snapchat:

Now open the Google Play Store.
Search for “Snapchat” in the search bar and then tap on the Snapchat application that shows up in the search results.
You will see the install button right next to the application. Tap on it and wait till the installation is complete.
Once the reinstallation is done, try opening the app again and then log in to your account again. Check and see if the error shows up again when you send a message.
If none of these fixes works out for you, then it is probably a network issue. In that case, you should try switching to a different connection with better speed and connectivity. If you are using an organization network, then the chances are that it blocks Snapchat servers. In that case, try using your mobile data, and it should work fine now.
